Fridays

Leader: Free-Style Fridays!

On free style Fridays, students should be able to choose a song that they’d like to Chachersize to. The dance can be instructed by a different student every 2 minutes of the song so that multiple students have a chance to lead. The group should focus on a lower body emphasis on Fridays, so make sure the moves in the lower body portion of the video are used. Have students make plans for the weekend to Chachersize at home or at a family event!

Nutrition Huddle!

Just before nap time, recess or PE, have students brainstorm all of the colorful foods they know. They can just shout out the answer. Have fun with it! When thinking of colorful foods, they won’t be able to help naming some fruits and veggies. Write all of the foods on the board and have them choose three to eat that week. The following week ask them what they ate and how they enjoyed it. This exercise can be repeated once each month. Challenge them to think of new and different foods with color.
